Welcome to Slate Hill Boer Goats, located in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. J. T. Begoon and Allison Miller invite you to enjoy the website! Slate Hill Boer Goats is excited to share the goat world with you!
J. T. and Allison have been raising livestock and show animals for a combined over 50 years. J. T. manages his family's 3rd generation turkey and cattle farm, which runs 150 cows and club calves. Allison has been involved in fitting and showing horses, dairy cattle, beef cattle and goats since childhood. Allison currently works as an animal nutritionist for a local feed mill and runs a herd of 60+ boer and boer cross goats. Add this experince to J. T.'s Ag Business degree and Allison's Master degree in Animal Science and Nutrition there is no wonder they are succeding in the show ring and the market place.
